Castle Kilbride

The jewel of Wilmot Township, Castle Kilbride is a National Historic Site offering a glimpse into the lavish Victorian era. This grand 1877 home of Canada's Flax Mill King, James Livingston, features stunning Italianate architecture and original murals. Popular events include Christmas at the Castle, when the Victorian mansion is beautifully decorated with trees, ribbon, and garland.

New Hamburg Waterwheel

New Hamburg is home to the largest working wooden waterwheel in North America, a beloved landmark along the Nith River that pays tribute to the town's milling heritage.

The township provides more than 218 acres of parkland and green space, plus the Wilmot Recreation Complexβ€”a 163,000 square foot facility with two NHL-sized arenas, aquatics centre, indoor track, and three soccer fields.
