Another month, another record in local real estate!

The KW real estate market has continued to show strength through June, with 740 homes sold in the month. This is up 10% from the same month last year, and a 13.6% decrease from May 2021. Incredibly, the number of homes sold in the past six months surpasses any previous six-month period on record!

The average sale price for June was $759,115, which is 26.4% more than June 2020. It is also a 2% increase over May 2021. While the price for a detached home showed a month-over-month increase of nearly 6% in June, condos, townhomes, and semis all showed a modest decrease. All in all, the market appears to be holding quite steady at the current rate.
