Neighbourhood Feature – Beechwood

Welcome to Beechwood! A popular area in Waterloo, Beechwood, is known for being a great neighbourhood for families. The area features a blend of activities, privacy and larger style homes on large lots with mature trees.

This area is special to both Michael and Laura as they both spent some time as children living here. What are some of their favorite aspects?

• Community Pools & Tennis courts: Meet the neighbours and enjoy spending time outside all summer long. With both swimming and tennis lessons held throughout the summer, it is a great opportunity to improve your skills.
• Greenspace: There is no shortage of areas to play within Beechwood. There are fields set aside as green space and plenty of paths which make it a great area for walking, running, cycling or just playing outside.
• Skating rinks: You’ll see plenty of neighbourhood skating rinks pop up throughout the winter!

There is no shortage of events that are hosted by the respective neighourhood associations throughout the year – BBQ’s, Easter egg hunts, teen nights, outdoor movie nights, fundraisers, and so much more.
